DESCRIPTION OF THE FIRM

   ANDERSON, KREHBIEL& BRYAN was founded in Thousand Oaks in 1983 (then Anderson & Krehbiel) to serve the West San Fernando Valley and East Ventura County areas in business and financial matters (although it now serves clients throughout California and in other states).  The firm has provided services to such diverse clients as: real estate developers; title insurance companies, public utilities; banks; manufacturers; distributors; foreign corporations; brokers; retailers; service providers; publishers; entertainment companies; radio stations; public districts; and government subdivisions.  Located in the City of Westlake Village on the border of Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, the firm provides representation in the Los Angeles and Ventura County courts as well as courts in Orange, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo Counties.

WILLIAM A. ANDERSON

     Bill Anderson received a B.A. in Economics (with honors) from California State University in 1972 and a Juris Doctor from Southwestern University School of Law in 1976.  Prior to receiving his law degree, he was a Principal in an executive compensation consulting firm specializing in designing and negotiating salary, bonus and stock option plans for public corporations and senior executives.  He has practiced law in Westlake Village since 1978 and co-founded Anderson & Krehbiel in 1983.  His practice emphasis is commercial and industrial real estate, including: land use; condemnation; environmental; wetlands; water; real estate purchases and sales; and development. 

DAVID L. KREHBIEL

     David Krehbiel majored in Finance at California State University, Northridge and in 1973 received his Juris Doctor, Magna Cum Laude from Loyola University School of Law where he graduated first in his class.  Prior to becoming a lawyer, he was an insurance underwriter and a corporate officer and operations manager for a large securities transfer agency.  From 1973-1980 he practiced corporate securities, governmental regulation, and tax law for the American Funds group of mutual funds.  From 1980-1983, he was a partner in Gund & Krehbiel, a Los Angeles firm emphasizing business and labor law.  In 1983, he co-founded Anderson & Krehbiel.  His practice emphasis is business and employment law, including: corporate, limited liability company, and partnership formation and capitalization; corporate and business acquisitions and sales; business contracts; and discrimination, unlawful discharge, and wage and hour disputes representing employers only.

JOEL R. BRYAN

     Joel Bryan received a Bachelor of Arts in University Studies (Cum Laude) from Brigham Young University in 1976 and a Juris Doctor from Brigham Young University Law School in 1979.  Between 1979 and 1987 he practiced tax litigation, estate planning and real estate law in Thousand Oaks.  He joined Anderson, Krehbiel, McCreary & Bryan in 1987 and, as a Partner of the firm, his practice emphasis is family law, estate planning, exempt organizations, and general civil litigation, including: marriage dissolution; child custody; wills and trusts; probate; and 501(c)(3) organizations.   He has served as a Judge Pro Tem in Los Angeles County Municipal Court.
